Talking Triathlon

A not so short conversation mostly about short course racing with the news that Lucy Charles-Barclay is lining up at WTCS Leeds. How will the superstar of long course go against the world's fastest triathletes?

We also look at all the action from Iron Man Tulsa where Daniela Ryf dominated and Patrick Lange returned to the top of the podium. We go through all the action from Lisbon and discuss what Kristian Blummenfelt's incredible form will mean for a little race in Tokyo later this year.

St George 70.3 might have shown us one of the closest finishes of recent times between Sam Long and Lionel Sanders. To add even more fuel to the fire was the confusion around Danish athlete, Daniel Bækkegård who was eventually DQ'd for not serving a penalty.

We are joined by Daniel this week to get the inside scoop on exactly what happened, discuss his career including 'that' finish line stomp and what we can expect to see from him in the future.

We talk about the St George 70.3 race, just how good Daniela Ryf is as well as some issues the Iron Cowboy is having with IronMan Triathlon!
